Cross Country Ski Headquarters – March 3
We got about 8-9 since last night, on top of the 7 we had just gotten. Life is good!

Aspen Park – Gaylord Area – March 1
A great ski weekend ahead for the first of March in the Gaylord area. Weather forecast is calling for 10″ to 15″ of new snow between Friday night (3/2) and Saturday. Skiing continues to get better and better with this additional snow.

XC Ski Headquarters – February 29
Fran has never been so happy to shovel! The snow count is up to 7.5 inches, and it’s beautifully heavy! Groomers Stu and Greg have been packing and combing since 8am. It’s winter at its finest!

XC Ski Headquarters – February 25
How about those six inches of fresh snow we’ve gotten since yesterday!! Groomers Stu and Rodney have been out since early this morning packing it down, snowcombing and setting track. Possibly the best weekend of skiing all year is in store! And to top it off, we’re serving Lunch on the Barbe today and tomorrow! Our famous barbequed pulled pork will be served on warm sourdough rolls from noon till 3pm. The smell alone will knock your socks off. There are so many reasons to Come Ski With Us!!

XC Ski Headquarters – February 24
Let it snow! As of 9am we’ve gotten 3 inches and counting of fresh white stuff. Yet another fantastic weekend of XC skiing is in the works! Groomer Rodney has been Ginzu grooming since dawn and will continue as long as the snow keeps falling. Tracks are set and corduroy skating lanes are snowcombed. It is a beautiful winter wonderland out there! Lunch special is a California Reuben… Turkey, cole slaw, provolone and homemade Thousand Island dressing on grilled sourdough!

Timber Ridge RV & Recreation Resort – February 19
Ted Okerstrom took advantage of our most beautiful winter day this year. Ted came out to try his snow shoes that he just purchased this year. Ted is a young 90 years and shoe stomped around the Ridge, had some of our homemade chili & muffins when he came back in, and looks forward to stomping again this week. Ted is a huge inspiration!

Cross Country Ski Headquarters – February 17
A beautiful XC skiing weekend is shaping up! Groomer Greg groomed the fresh snow all day yesterday and this morning Groomer Rodney will snowcomb the skating lane and set fresh tracks on the Manitou Trail. Then he will freshen up the skating lanes on all the other trails. Almost perfect conditions prevail!

Crystal Mountain – February 5
The Women’s Winter Tour continues today with the 3K, 5K, and 8K cross-country ski tours. And costumes always make skiing even more fun! (More Photos)

Springlike skiing conditions on our cross-country trails are bringing smiles to the faces of Nordic skiers this afternoon.

Boyne Highlands – January 20
Cross Country Skiing & MORE SNOW!!!
The snow continued falling with a vengeance today – adding another 3″ of fresh powder to our slopes up to this point as it continues to dump!

Crystal Mountain – January 15
Our cross-country trails are open! The majority of our 40km trail system has been track-set and groomed for good striding and skating. Come out and SKI!

Corsair Ski Trails – January 13
January 13th – Finally some snow. We spent the day rolling and packing a base with our new Grizzly ATV. The best skiable snow is in the Silver Valley section. Avoid Corsair and Wright’s Lake sections for now. Snow is still to thin on the high speed downhills.

Photo taken today after Groomer Gordon went through. First Tracks of the Season. – Skiing is fantastic and surprisingly fast for new snow. Have freestyle sprints are tonight at 6:00pm.

Trails are open for skiing!
As of 11:30 Am Monday Jan 2, 2012 we have received 7 inches of fresh snow! The skating lanes are beautifully snow combed and there is even enough snow to set tracks on most of the trails!

Crystal Mountain – Dec. 25
A couple of our cross-country skiers were cutting up the corduroy with Santa earlier today.

Timber Ridge – Dec. 23
Classic Skied in the park this morning, was Great! Have fresh corduroy. Not quite enough to track yet.

Yeah, we have snow!!!!! But 2 blocks down the road and you would never believe we have this much snow at Timber Ridge!
